1. Find something about yourself you love.

"Every woman has something about them that we as stylists want to accentuate, whether they have amazing legs or an amazing waist line," Bannerman tells us. "There are some women who are larger size and like to showcase their breasts. We help them find that one thing they love, so they can feel comfortable putting it on display for a million people to admire—the compliments will come as a result of the positive energy."

2. Also, know the parts of your body you're not as in love with.

"We try to have a conversation first and foremost about what they’re comfortable with, what they like about their body ordon'tlike about their body," Bannerman says. "Of course, we make sure they do find something they do like about their body, but understanding them and how theytruly ?feel about their body is really important as well."

3. Fabric is everything.

"Fabric choices really go a long way," McDonald tells us. "If you are a curvy girl, if you are gonna wear something fitted, stay away from things that have a sheen to them. Go with a matte jersey as opposed to a silk jersey, because silk picks up light and makes you appear heavier. Go with a crepe or a wool that has a stretch, because it conforms to your body without exposing too much. You have to go for those good fabrics that glide over and contour creases nicely. The right poses, cuts, and colours can really take off 10 pounds."

4. Let your imagination run wild.

"We recommend you think about it in a private moment to yourself, when you’re home alone or by yourself, what’s that element of your body that you sensualize, that you love?" Bannerman says. "You probably think about it all the time, but you don’t necessarily convey it verbally. Take that element of private sensuality, and make that an asset and showcase it. You might have amazing legs, so wear skirts with slits. Wear nice cigarette pants or jeans that show the shape of your legs."

"Go back into that private moment, just visualise what you would like to see if you were daydreaming. Imagine yourself as a movie star, what’s that part of your body from your daydream that you would like to showcase in my everyday life? And work to make that a reality."

5. Experiment with new styles and keep an open mind.

"It’s good for women to just do trial and error, go somewhere and get a whole bunch of things you think you like, go in the dressing room, really focus, and work it out," McDonald says. "There are some things you’ll find that will surprise you, like oh wow, I had no idea this would look this good on me. You’ve got to get out there and take that risk.
