How to Make a Borax Snowflake
How to Make a Borax Crystal Snowflake
Cut the pipe cleaner into 3 equal sections.
Twist the sections together at the center to make it a six-sided snowflake. You can also twist the pipe cleaner into any shape you want. (The crystals will still grow on it, regardless of the shape!)
Tie a string to the snowflake and the pencil. The snowflake should be hanging down from the pencil.
Add boiling water to a jar big enough that when you insert the snowflake it will not touch the jar's sides.
Add tablespoons of Borax soap to the boiled water.(3 spoons = 1 cup of water)
Insert the pipe cleaner snowflake in the jar.
Let the snowflake sit overnight, and by morning, it will be a crystal snowflake.
