Potatoes baked in the oven tasty pieces

You will need
  • - salt - to taste;
  • - vegetable oil - 150 ml;
  • - potatoes - 1.8 kg.
Heat oven to 200oC. Peel potatoes and divide into 4 parts. Place the potato wedges in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Salt and bring to a boil. Then cook for 5 minutes over low heat.
Add duck fat or vegetable oil to a baking sheet, then send to the oven to warm it.
From the pot with the potatoes, drain the water and let stand for a couple of minutes without a lid. Remove from the oven a baking sheet with melted butter or fat and place the potatoes on it.
Place the baking tray with the potatoes back in the oven and bake, turning the dish every 15 minutes. Cook for an hour until a crispy golden crust.
